COVID-19 Protocol

Guidance for individuals exposed to COVID-19 (regardless of vaccination status):
Quarantining at home is no longer necessary
It is recommended, but not required, that individuals wear a high-quality mask for 10 days after the exposure.
Individuals should watch for symptoms to develop for 10 days after the exposure
If symptoms develop, the individual should isolate immediately, get tested, and stay home until they receive results.
Guidance for Individuals Who Test Positive for COVID-19 (regardless of vaccination status):
Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 should stay home/isolate for at least 5 days (start of symptoms is day zero)
For individuals with mild, symptomatic COVID-19, isolation can end 5 days after symptom onset provided:
Any fever that was present has ended at least 24 hours prior (without the use of fever-reducing medication) and
Overall symptoms are improving.
Asymptomatic (no symptoms) COVID-19 positive cases should isolate for 5 days (test day is day zero)
All individuals who tested positive must continue to properly wear a high-quality mask around others for 5 more days after the 5-day isolation period is complete.
