According to Section 1073.1 of the Pennsylvania School Code, superintendents must be evaluated via an annual performance review using object performance standards.

At the August 12, 2024 meeting of the Tussey Mountain School Board of Directors the board determined a rating of proficient for Superintendent Dr. Jerry Shoemake for the 2023-2024 school year.
